SimCity 5 screenshots offer a close up view

I am ridiculously amped for this game to come out now. Those screenshots look amazing. I was playing SC4 last week and was surprised at how good the game still is after being available for years.
 
I'm also greatly looking forward to this. I quite like management sims - I enjoy the relatively sedentary pace of gameplay as a change from all the action-oriented stuff we're bombarded with. Plus, I can half watch a TV show or movie at the same time as playing.

The persistent online economy sounds like a cool feature to bring SimCity into the modern gaming era.

Well I started on Simcity 2000 it was one of the first Windows based games I got stuck into, and ever since then I've moved up with Simcity 3000 and 4000. So now for the Dev's to redesign the entire engine, so be some exciting stuff.

Your sauces don't by any chance have a rough date, or a leaked date?? :p
