Just saw this game in my Steam queue: 'n Verlore Verstand. It sounded too Afrikaans to be Dutch or something else, and found out they are two local boys!

Well done Skobbejak Games! ANother local game on the big Steam. Sorry, won't be getting it as it is not my cup of tea, but I am proud non the less!

Props to Skobbejak indeed! It's their second game on Steam. They put a horror title called Vapour out in July 2015 (http://store.steampowered.com/app/345440/).

With my marketing hat on, I'm not 100% convinced by the Afrikaans title on this new release. Nothing wrong with it per se, just wonder how many average Steam users will see it, think "weird foreign language game" and move past it?

Being afrikaans, I am happy to see an afrikaans named game, but I agree with GregRedd, the name might put of gamers from buying it. Looks great, but I cant play platform jumping games, I suck at it.

Hi, Skobbejak Games here, first of all thanks so much for the support everyone, glad to see that some of the local guys and gals have noticed 'n Verlore Verstand. Sorry we havent had any time to post here yet, launch has been quite hectic so far.

In terms of the Marketing we are actually getting a lot more International support than local support, weirdly enough. Quite a bit of Americans, Canadians, German, Dutch, Russians and Polish (and some other countries) Gamers have flocked in so far. Of course it still in Early Access and all the levels still need to be added and a few bugs need to be fixed so the majority are still holding off on it and Wish-listing it rather.

We actually got inspired to go with a Afrikaans name after seeing the game Kholat and how much people flocked to it, I think most of the gamers on Steam are so used to seeing English titles that when a foreign named title comes along that they take notice and see it as a breath of fresh air.

At least the Interface/Menu is in English and there isnt any written or audio based Story elements present, as an Abstract Adventure everything is up to the player to interpret in their own light.

Thanks again for the support guys, hope you can get some time to check it out.
