Skyrim collector's edition comes with unlimited dragons, plus one | Joystiq

Bethesda producer Todd Howard has already confirmed an "unlimited number of dragons" in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At QuakeCon, Howard revealed the Collectors Edition for the title, which comes with a 12" statue of the dragon Alduin perched on a dragon wall. That's one more dragon than you get with the game alone -- or infinity plus one dragons -- making the CE a mathematical impossibility.

Other, less troubling bonuses include a 200-page "coffee table" artbook, and a making-of DVD. It'll be available on the game's November 11 release date at the only slightly less than infinite price of $149.99 US/ €149.99 EU/ £129.99 UK/ $199.99 Australian. And don't forget to pre-order, because if you're splashing out this much for Skyrim stuff, you're pretty much guaranteed to want that cloth map too.

So expensive though. I hope they have a slightly cheaper SE or LE as well with some perks if you pre-order, but as excited as I am for Skyrim, I don't think I'm going to pay R800 for the CE.

I wonder if Bethesda have actually learnt how to make a decent RPG yet?

That statuette actually makes it pretty tempting.

Wow that looks amazing, screw Uncharted 3 and Batman CE's, this is really worth my money. If I have any left that is. Dragons xD
 
Haha, ok, I'm willing to put ANY amount of money on the fact that Skyrim will be Game of the Year. I want to sleep under that map at night.

I would agree, if only because it would probably be next year's GOTY (since it's being released right at the end of this one) and there doesn't seem to be much to contend with next year :p
