Skyrim Thread

There is a retexture mod called nightingale prime that looked pretty sweet, sorry i cant link it though. Look on skyrim nexus

I am aware of it. I was wondering about the official textures. I did download the enhanced textures and it does fix both the Nightingale and Ebony armors.

Awh that's shitty bro.. Y not check online where that mission is and then search where the big bosses were...?

Crap! I did this last night, and the sword is not there... Also checked the next places I went, not there either....

Is there any other item in the game that has the drain life ability where life is drained from the opponent without having to moer him?

Daedra prince items are unique with their abilities.. So I doubt u'll find another like that...

*edit*

Do u have it on pc or console..? If on pc u can get it through the console..:) found this code FormID: 000f6527:)

Oh and I see now its not a prince item... But it's still unique..:)

Check here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Absorb_Health

That's the enchantment that the Nightingale Blade has. It seems that there is no difference between Absorb Health and Drain Health.

Also, you wouldn't have been able to disenchant the blade.

Aaahhh, thanks!!! Two very good responses!

I have it on PS3. If I couldn't disenchant it, then no worries. I would like to ad this ability to another weapon in the future though, being able to drain health and get it added to your by just having the sword equipped, is rather excellent.

Any idea what I can do my wife is stuck in the middle of the road and just don't want to go to my home in whiterun. If i tell her we are going to move back into her place she stars moving again.

I must say that I was actually disappointed with Skyrim. It's unmatched in the amount of content and the amount of things you can do is brilliant, but the character-building and items were boring enough for me to get disinterested a lot sooner than I thought I would. I played a mage and the spells are tedious and boring and I got the archmage robes so early that the item-finding pretty much ended there.

I can't say anything about magic since I haven't use it but as far as loot goes Bethesda games have never really been about loot, sure you still get to find some cool items but it's not the main drive.

Bethesda borked Skyrim from the get-go... Really pissed off with the game, haven't touched it since beginning of December.

I will maybe finish the game some day, but for now, I don't really care. Busy with Minecraft and BF3 and hoping for news on Guild Wars 2 beta sign-ups.

I think often the problem is people buy a game because of the hype rather than because they think they will enjoy playing the game. Hence the disappointment.

The thing for me isn't that it didn't live up to the hype, it's that it could (and should) have been so much more than it is. Every Elder Scrolls game so far has raised the bar for RPGs, but Skyrim didn't.

In other words, you over hyped it yourself and hence the disappointment.

For me Skyrim is exactly what I expected it to be, no more no less. I'm only expecting a significant evolution when the next generation of consoles arrive.

No. In other words, you don't understand what I'm saying.

Hype was never the issue. he issue is that Skyrim is a stock-standard RPG, nothing we haven't seen before, based on ancient tech and gameplay mechanics. Bethesda slacked off when making the game.

Hell, the same annoying technical issues we had in Oblivion is still in Skyrim. Little things that bring the entire game down, like sub-par AI.
