Just fast travel to a location and he'll be there. I hate the fact that the horse takes part in my fight, I'm always worried I'm going to accidentally kill him...

Who says a nasty legal battle means you can't appreciate each other's work? A nice little nod to Minecraft made its way into Skyrim, Ology reports. Neat!

Pictured above is the Notched Pickaxe, which looks an awfully lot like the one from Minecraft -- Notch, you likely know, is the creator of the game. Hats off to the Bethesda devs for including this in the game. If you want to see it for yourself (and perhaps use it to kill a few of the smaller dragon pups), you can find it in The Throat of the World. It shouldn't be too hard to find the one-of-a-kind pickaxe stuck in the biggest mountain in the game.

Almost up to level 12 now (don't have a lot of time to play). Just paid a visit to the old blokes in the mountains. Need to increase my One-Handed a bit more. Jeez this is a great game.

You can fast travel to any location you've discovered by opening the map and clicking it, then select fast travel to location. Tell me you haven't been hoofing it everywhere all this time... :p

On my first character I walked from Whiterun to Ivarstead. On the second character I decided to buy a horse and ride it there, but it got killed by a sabercat halfway there. So I decided to fast-travel back to Whiterun and take the carriage to Riften and walk from there.

Not everyone knows all these things... im sorry to say that i did also not know this and have been "hoofing it" since i got the game....:o
 
I walk to most location first there after fast travel to them. On my way to Solitude and even though the abandoned shack the Dark Brotherhood took me to is closer than Whiterun but since I didn't get there myself I decided to walk to Solitude to find all the bits in between.

Nope. It started with Oblivion. Morrowind didn't have any fast travel, but had a variety of travel methods. From what I can recall, it had striders, boats, mark and recall, mage guild teleports and ruin teleports (can't remember the name).

Lol and I got so frustrated cause I thought by myself, f%^&me that this is a lot of running around :P

Hahaha blond moment...thx for the help. I might just start playing it again :)

PS. First game I play in this series...

i think this is my 1st bethesda game....i had a lot of fail moments last night.... did i mention i got lost for 30 min after running down the wrong side of a mountain(i had issues with figuring out the map)?
 
Getting lost in a Bethesda game is like breathing, it happens naturally.

Also getting distracted and developing (A.D.D. - Attention Deficit Disorder) is also a natural occurrence. I have a quest to go kill a dragon who's been terroris... Oooh! A cave!
 
Guess how i killed my first troll?,Went as redguard and used adrenalin rush.attack with sword>shield bash>attack with sword>shield bash>and so on and so on.

I fough my second dragon on my way to retrieve the horn for the greybeards,kept hiding behind a piece of tree until he comes close enough then i fill him with arrows.he went up to his little nest so i went up after him and drank a few cold resist potions then wasted him.after that a frost troll came allong so i cast mass paralyze and beat the crap out of him until he slowly stood up,after that i used fire breath which i just got after killing the dragon and killed him.
