Skyrim Thread

The game is amazing, later on it gets a little bit easier to explore (1 shot kills on wolves) but there are a few 'bosses' that 1 shot kill you even with good armor, just run and shoot fireballs! :P Also, for those who didnt know (took me a while to Realize ) when you hold Alt you sprint! :P

Or you can simply toggle Capslock and he keeps sprinting. :P

Wait- do you mean to say...you walked this whole time? :O
I think I'd die if I had to travel that slowly everywhere.

@Graal, nope he means sprinting. What you are referring to is normal running, sprinting is even faster but consumes stamina.

So I killed my first giant tonight..:D Was surprisingly easy.. But then again.. I am lvl 30.. Almost got my sneak to 100.. It's at 96 at the moment..:D it sux that the skill thing still goes up even if u don't go "level up", the bar still fills up even though u don't see it.. I'm saving up my perk points..:) I've got like 4 free ones already.. Wana use em all for the smithing..:) Wana make dat dragon armour!!

Damn, i need to play more. I'm only at level 5. Saved up 3 perk points, can't decide where to use em :/
I should research this some more.

You get one perk skill point per level right?

Also another thing I just found (lol need to read the keys layout before playing), is the 'c' key. It toggles auto-run....so no more holding in 'W'.

Enjoy for the ones who did not know...

Well I saved and saved and then saved some more and I was finally able to buy that nice home in Solitude for 25,000 gold.

I get to my house everything is awesome, I explore very noo and cranny of my newly acquired property and I head out the back door. I check out the patio and turn around to head back into the house.

I cant! The game says I need a key to get into the house - BUG SPOTTED - It works for the basement and main entrance, but not for the back door. You can go out of the back door, but not in. Just thought you guys might want a heads up.

Anyways tonight I will be doing some quick Thieves Guild Quests, because I am officially broke after buying that house and still need to decorate it.

Wow guys, this is like one of the most active threads on the forum! :D and on top of it all, sadly enough I haven't even got Skyrim yet... :(

I finally put some time into my smithing last night and upgraded my Dwarven armour to superior as well as upgrading my Elven sword to superior, then enchanted it to do another 10 frost damage, so it now does 30+10 dmg :D.

Tonight I think I will do the Dark Brotherhood quests so that I can get my immortal horse. :D

Hehehe this thread is awesome. Quite useful. I like that there are very little spoilers, so I check in here often. And if there are spoilers, Omega can moer them.

i killed my first dragon last night... was pretty wicked. it was purely by chance as i was running away from riverwood as there were 4 hired mercenaries trying to kill me, which i could just not seem to kill(im only lvl6) i completed the quest for lucian for the golden claw and now suddenly ppl want to kill me...i think i will now just go find the graybeards and do the dragonborne quest and later on go back to Riverwood

I got quite far with the Dark Brotherhood, and the immortal horse is epic! Really good for distracting dragons :P

I really wish that dragons needed different tactics to kill instead of just shooting them with ice spike and using my Blade of Woe to absorb all its health..

Also, Mini Spoiler:

Found a weapon in called Mace of Molag Bal (One handed mace - 29 damage, 18 weight, 31 stamina damage, 31 magic damage) BUT the best part of it is that if you kill an enemy within 3 secs you absorb their sole, filling a sole gem.

(It can be found at an abandoned house at Markarth, as soon as you teleport there just run straight an look to your left, there will be a guy in robes at the door.)

PS: The specs of the weapon depends on your level, i was at level 18 i think.

Played some more last night. Found the game to be a bit more difficult then a couple nights back which is good.
I have only done a couple minor quests though.
Really looking forward to some more skyrim this weekend
