Skyrim Thread

Found the game to be a bit more difficult then a couple nights back which is good.

If you're really looking for a challenge go do some of the dungeons and more specifically the Dwarven (Dwemer) dungeons.

Yeah, probably will. At the moment I am just walking around the place looking for a fight. I love fighting bandits.
I wish however that you could burn down forests or bushes or trees with fire magic. The more powerful your spell the more you can burn down. It kinda makes the environment more immersible that way.

i killed my first dragon last night... was pretty wicked. it was purely by chance as i was running away from riverwood as there were 4 hired mercenaries trying to kill me, which i could just not seem to kill(im only lvl6) i completed the quest for lucian for the golden claw and now suddenly ppl want to kill me...i think i will now just go find the graybeards and do the dragonborne quest and later on go back to Riverwood

Wenzday make sure to take your guard with you when you go up.

So my horse got killed the other night and it sucked now I have to walk all over the place again :( Horse clitched that would not let him run away.

Well I saved and saved and then saved some more and I was finally able to buy that nice home in Solitude for 25,000 gold.

I get to my house everything is awesome, I explore very noo and cranny of my newly acquired property and I head out the back door. I check out the patio and turn around to head back into the house.

I cant! The game says I need a key to get into the house - BUG SPOTTED - It works for the basement and main entrance, but not for the back door. You can go out of the back door, but not in. Just thought you guys might want a heads up.

Anyways tonight I will be doing some quick Thieves Guild Quests, because I am officially broke after buying that house and still need to decorate it.

LOL, nice one.

Quick question of owning a house. Can you drop gear there and quit the game and it will be there when you come back? Like stuff you don't want to sell immediately and don't want to carry with you all the time?

I do that. I use a chest and just dump stuff in there. Then go do other stuff...nothing has gone missing.

You also have bookcases, on which you can store your books. It's pretty awesome. I'm just looking for a house with more than one bookcase, though. Can't have a library with just 36 books.

Found an awesome spell, it's called transmute.. It's an alteration spell that turns iron ore into silver ore and silver ore into gold ore..:D Very usefull...:)

Damn I need to buy a house asap...sounds good! ;)

Thanks for the info guys!

Quick question:
I currently have Faendel as my follower, if i tell him to part ways or do the companion quest where they give me a follower, where does he go? Back to Riverwood? Can i get him back?

He should just go home and u can meet up with him later...:)

There a little house in white run.. 5000 gold.. But also only book case.. But the rest works for me.. It's an oulike place..:)

If you get the alcamy lab add-on there is a second book case. I love my little house in Whiterun & am in no hurry getting once in solitude since i dont really like that city (yet).

Took down another Dragon last night & unlocked the disarm shout. Keen to try it out.

Clocked my 40th hour in Skyrim last night. got to level 100 in enchant and blacksmithing. I'll just say that the armour you can make is spectacularly powerful. Feels good man. Also the difficulty scaling is just right in my opinion. When I was level 1 I had no problem killing a vampire master, but now that I'. level 42, things aint so easy anymore. Me likey

I told Lydia it was time for me to go solo, she waits for me in my house in whiterun.

I find that I never use companions, I prefer going it solo. :)

Yeah, haven't even touched the companions yet. There's a mage in Riften I considered hiring, but decided against it. I don't want to be unable to enter a door because my stupid AI companion is blocking the way to it. :p

Same here, i did a bit in the beginning but found she would steal my kills which means no skill improvements for me. So now she waits until such a time as I need her.

And that's y I use conjugation magic... If it steals a kill, it gives me conjuration xp...:p :D
