xD Sometimes you gotta let loose and that guy so deserved it xD No spoilers lol.
SPOILER ALERT
Goodly characters would never beat a poor old man to death in a cage. NEVER.

They would find a way to destroy the daedric altar and convince the old man that there are better paths than servitude to daedra!

SPOILER OVER

I don't know, I just hate quests that force you into a certain role. That's not how an RPG works.

Well yeah, that's true, although I don't really mind that. I will say though, I think that's a part of the game that could have been a little better, making you're own choices based on how you feel, whether you wanna be a good, kind hearted man, or a Julius Malema satanic fuck everything up kinda guy..

Moral choices would have been a great addition.

*nod* It's an important part of something that calls itself a role-playing game to give players the option of playing a role they want and not a role that is forced on them... Otherwise it's just a glorified sandbox adventure game :p

But all that aside, it's a great game :D

Also... LOL @ the Julius Malema bit :D

So I am level 8 lol. I have not even started the main quest. I get distracted by stairs that lead to places :p

yeah miii :D

I quick saved then killed a whole village just to test his power :D

Is it really THAT bad?

I'm lvl 4 with my archer/thief type dude and I alternate between his bow & sword/dagger and I'm really struggling to kill things properly. The bow (even with 4pts in the talent tree) is not working too well, seeing as everyone's on top of you within seconds.

Would it be better for me to restart & play as a mage instead?

Also, how do you process leather to use at the smith if you have gathered pelts?

Its not that the Class is weak, like omega said once u have some points in sneak it becomes easier :p,I just got tired of sneaking around and attacking from a distance,I had the need to run up to people and smash their face in with a huge warhammer

My character, El'rana Dragonblade, being a Ninja Warrior Mage really makes for a fun combination.

Sneak around attack with one handed sword and shield for awesome damage or just chuck and insanely powerful fireball at your foes while sneaking, then switch to blade and shield when you get mobbed.

Also those flame atronach's really help when dealing with large crowds or single powerful targets.

Having a high sneak capability and lockpicking skills really reward in so many ways.

That is why I have my one handed and restoration skills worked on. Its a good combo.

Which is my style of play too. I can sneak a little and I do open locks all the way up to master with no point invested in lockpicking :p. Besides, Dragons don't wait for me to go into sneak before allowing me to attack . :D

Did an epic quest I just stumbled upon. Damn necromancers. got a sword called the ghostsword. it weighs nothing.

I unfortunately got that at a time when much stronger swords where seemingly falling from the sky (plus you can't upgrade it). Suffice it to say I used that awesome looking sword for less than an hour. :(
