I actually can't get leather higher than Flawless and I'm at 100. Strange. :/ And I noticed on my brothers account, he can do Daedric and other stuff at the Skyforge forge and is around level 30 on smithing, whereas those options don't even appear for me. Very weird. x_x

How many points have u put in the smithing perk tree?

How do you get married? who can you marry?

You need to visit the temple of mara and learn about love and then get a mara amulet. While wearing it interested people will comment on it, you can then ask them to marry you, some require you to do a quest first.

Hey guys. My buddy is playing Skyrim on PS3. He has the problem where the Save File gets too big and that makes the game LAG and eventually the PS3 crashes. Apparently they are working on a patch to fix this. How can they make a game and not think of something like this?

My archer/assassin/thief dude is lvl 12 now and still struggling along.

- My archery is getting better, 1 pt away from getting the x3 bonus with sneak damage
- My 1 handed is coming up, but doesn't seem to be very beneficial for daggers

What is quite cool that I've found is that as a low level lockpicker, you can still pick the top locks. I was lvl30 or so and managed to pick 4 expert locks and 2 master locks. I went through copious amounts of lockpicks, but the loot was worth it. I got myself an elven bow, elven blade and "elven boots of sneakiness". :D

Now a question regarding groups you join...I'm not a brawler or anything and I've only made it to as Whiterun as far as cities/outposts go, so naturally I signed up with the Companion. I've done a few quests with them and I'd like to know whether it will still be possible for me to join the assassin guild/dark brotherhood later on. The companion okes keep moaning about thieves etc. being lame.

Lastly...as far as skills go, is it worthwhile to buy skill points from trainers? I try to limit this to my main skills only because making money seems to be a bit of an issue for me. I average around 3k gold before a trainer sinks it down to 800 or so after 5 lvls.

Yeah, I noticed last night that it doesn't work the same as in other games etc. Your skill level goes up based on the work you do, but you have to spend "talent points" in the actual training of that skill. It also allows you to select a type of armor crafting specialization.

F me, but I only suck at alchemy. I just chuck stuff together and get duds 8/10 times. I've tried to find books on recipes, but to no avail.

Yeah u can join the Brotherhood & thieves guild later on, they aren't locked away coz u joined the companions. Just a note: u get cool sneaky armor for joining either the thieves or brotherhood.

Paying for skills help but like ur doing stick to the main skills.

I also suck at alcamy, by eating the ingredients u discover what they do, then combine similar items for desired effects.

Anyone else notice that arrows still damage u even if u've got the "arrows that hit shield don't do damage" perk....:/ What a waste of a perfectly good perk point...

Also.. Anyone else fight a ancient dragon yet...? One fire blast from the beast and my level 49 khajiit is down to like 5% health...:/

That's impossible. To forge Daedric items you need to have a smithing skill of 90 and the appropriate perk. I'm currently at 90 smith skill and wondering if it's worth using my free skill point on the Daedric Armor perk since I haven't seen a single Daedric ingot yet...

Do it dude.. The weapons look badass:D

Ill get all the points on the smithing tree, eventually but for the moment I'm happy with my ebony weapons. For the next few levels I will be pumping points into One-Handed, Archery and Lock Picking. I have stopped putting points in sneak as my sneak seems infallible. I get detected stand up, crouch again and its like i was never there. Maybe later on.

Good lord, I tried to kill a mammoth. His mammoth buddy joined him and they tried to gank me. I think I ran 2 laps around the entire skyrim to get distance between us to arrow them in the face. It worked. The loot sucked. Now all I have is this long mammoth nose and I've lost my appetite. :/

I'm mostly using my bow in caves & can sometimes 1-shot guys, but my dual daggers is proving to be quite sucky. Need moar powaaar!

I've only, purposefully, taken on a mammoth once. Best way to raise your bow is sneak attack, there is a perk on the sneak tree that gives you 3 times damage from sneak attacks. There is also a dagger perk which gives you 15X dagger damage from a sneak attack. (all in the sneak tree) When not going for sneak kills I use dual ebony war axes instead of my blade of woe (A really awesome dagger)

Enemies are different levels depending on location. So while you can kill bandits easily in the starter area, later areas like the Rift might pose a greater challenge.

Once you are high enough level they are piss easy, at least they are for me. Where giants used to be a big threat for me they now go down in one dual wield power attack, same with snow trolls...

Critical Hit? Sneak attacks do double damage so it could be that, also some enemies wear hide armor and some iron, u might one shot someone wearing hide but not someone wearing iron. Make sense?

Yeah I'm on 39 sneak now, @ 40 I can get the 3x bow perk of ossumness. I got the dagger damage one, but I never get within pounce distance of people to use it :/

I've killed 4 mammoths so far. Trick is to shoot off a few arrows then GTFO and outrun them until they get tired, while healing yourself and then rinse and repeat. But srsly, not worth the effort.

The dagger one is after the bow one. Ur thinking of the one-handed perk, u can use sword, axe, even a mace. U will get more damage (since they do more damage than a dagger). The dagger perk's name is "Assassin's Blade" or something.

Yeah I upgraded my blade of woe to "epic" and I'm using ancient shrouded gloves so when sneak attacking with my dagger I get 30X damage..:p kills alles one shot..:)
