If anyone on PC is having issues with magic resistance after yesterdays patch then this mod apparently fixes it. I haven't played Skyrim since it was patched so I cant comment either way.

If anyone does have the issue can you confirm that this mod indeed works please? :)

Since Skyrim's release I have stayed up till 1am-2am every night xD
So needless to say some yawns and quick naps during lunch has kept me going :p
I won't be playing tonight though..or tomorrow night :( Social life..Meh xD

I haven't touched the game after the patch...hopefully its not all gone up in smoke...

I'm just not updating the game anymore. I kept a backup exe before the first patch, put it back into directory, can launch game without steam, no problems.

Last night was such a WTF moment. Dragons be everywhere!

Kill one outside a village. See another one on the hill top. Get to it, and it looks like it's caught in an updraft, keeps spinning around frantically - and when I killed it, it just flew off and my whole game started stuttering. I think I accidentally divided by zero or something.

Eventually make my way out of the twilight zone only to find a 3rd dragon low-flying at the bottom. As I try and kill it, it jets off never to return, but right below him is a FOURTH dragon, chilling out, maxing & relaxing all cool...but this dude had a name, normally they just say some random dragon in the title.

I swear, if I come across a dragon called Trogdor I'm most likely going to have a nerdgasm and die on the spot.

For those of you who don't know trogdor...

It been a while since a game actually made me skrik and go WTFWT (what the fcuk was that) and run for cover.

While following a mission marker I just saw this huge shadow pass over me at quite some speed. I was like WTF and frantically looked about. I actually felt the chills go down my spine. Then it appeared. A Dragon.

I'm sure if I was just being dom, but I was trying to engage the Dragon in combat. But it was constantly flying around. Is there some special way to get it to attack me or for me to attack it?

I also timed the loading times on my 360. Going into doors/dungeons, less than 5 seconds. Loading a complete new area, between 10 and 20 seconds.

That sounds about right. Mine's also around the 20s mark, but within the same places the doors open quicker.

As for the dragon slaying part...I'm still not 100% sure. I'll often have one do a few circles around me, pillage some village and then fly off again. Wondering if it's because I'm in sneak mode that it doesn't spot me, despite flying off with some of my arrow stock in its face.

Hit it with an arrow, magic or shout normally drops it down & you can beat the shit out of it.

Crafted me some smithing boosting armor, braces, ring and necklace each pushing my smithing (which is 100 along with my sneaking) in an attempt to boost it high enough so I could improve my leather armor & nightingale armor to legendary. Unfortunately 154 is only good enough to boost it to epic. However something unexpected happened... All my weapons are legendary and when activating the grinding wheel the blade of woe light up and I upgraded it from 46 dps to 50. The Legendary tag didn't change bluster the damage & value. Thinking it was a fluke I picked up a few ebony ingots and repeated the process. My drastic bow went up to a 112. As a result of this I upped the dif to expert and still managed to one shot sneak attack a dwarven guardian with the blade of woe.

I'm waaaaaay behind in my Blacksmithing. Until last night I still had normal steel armor. Then I bought some Dwarven Armor. Well its Friday today and I don't have work tomorrow, so I think I'm gonna do a bit of exploring and mine some or and stuff.

I tried that shout at the Dragon. Running underneath him. Shooting a few arrows at him. Nothing.

Unfortunately, leather armor doesn't have a perk, so you need to get to 196 Smithing to make leather armor Legendary. Try boosting it with Alchemy. The ingredients that have Fortify Smithing is Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth and Spriggan Sap.

Getting the dragons to attack you can sometimes be frustrating.

But when I see one and it flies low enough I just use Unrelenting Force on it to make it go: "Oh fuck there is actually someone there to attack! YIPPEEEEE!"

Then you just do what Dovakhiin do best, kill dragons.

I'm really getting annoyed by the safe & crime free living conditions of Whiterun.

When I was lvl8 or so I was carrying too much to move, so I dumped everything at the entrance of Whiterun when I ported in. That was over a week ago. Now each time I go to Whiterun, my books and random pieces of Venison is still lying scattered all over the street. What's the point of buying a house for secure storage if you can just leave your crap in the street?

I scattered a whole bunch of books I collected around the Whiterun market place. They're still there :D

So it reminds you less of SA? Maybe....
