Skyrim Thread

lvl 33 now, maxed out smithing this morning and I made myself some Dragonscale armor. Bitches love dragonscale armor! :D

Omega, I managed to loot 2x glass 1H axes from this one dude, they each have a shock/magika enchant on and seem to be doing nice damage. Definitely better than my daggers.

Flip I was so surprised last night, I gave lots of stuff to my luggage wench, lydia, and as I took a shot at an enemy, I just check ice and shards and all hell release on them. Lydia, the sneaky puffadder, decided that dual wielding the two enchanted staves I gave her would be a lot more fun.
 
I found a Awesome bandits wooden fort. But the leader keeps on chopping my head off. I love wacking off heads with my mace.
 
I'm in the 90's now with smithing, just a couple more to go for Dragon armor smithing :D

Got my Dwarven armor helmet and gauntlets up to legendary!@!@!@!
 
I encounted major glitch this morning, cant use any arcane enchanters or smithing equipment. So decided to put Skyrim down for a few days. Will try and finish BF3 & RAGE in the mean time. Might even go back to Dark Souls.
 
This is now really start to get on my nevers. I have found a few items earlier before getting the quests to find them. Now the game doesn't recognise that I have already gotten these items and the quest doesn't advance. Also because its miscellanious I haven't found the quest id to solve it with the console.

This has happended 4 times today...

Flute and the lute from the bards college(those I managed to find the quest ID and fix) and the book needing for wintershold. Can't find the quest ID for it so can't advance it, journal just says I need to find it but I already have it and quest marker points to an empty chest. Quest giver doesn't give me the option to turn it in.

I think I am just going to play batman and assasin creed till they put out a proper patch. This is getting ridiculous, only game this year where I have encountered quest breaking bugs. Other bugs I can handle but quest breaking ones piss me off.

If it's the Waters of Oblivion book, I have that exact same problem. Normally I would get pissed off about broken quests (actually, I am a little bit pissed off since I want the quest giver to make me blood-kin), but I just love this game too much to stop playing. Also, there are a shitload of other quests I can go and do so it doesn't bother me too much.
 
Managed to solve the issue. Had to force the item drop through the console commands and then pick it up again. I really wonder how guys on ps3 and xbox 360 are coping since from what I have read these issues are happening on all 3 systems.

I'm level 31 and haven't had a single issue.
Well apart from a dragon skeleton doing the twist and humping the whiterun gate

I did a pretty sweet quest a little earlier, had to collect blood from all the races :D Quite enjoyed that.
Still lvl 49, been focusing on exploring the map, so I've made a grid and now I am exploring every inch of the game :D
The game is fucking addictive, yeah there are some really crap bugs but I can't remember a game where I have had as much fun, only thing that comes to mind is Ultima 8 xD

Buggy or not this is by far the best game of the year.

Sure BF3 has a fantastic game engine and the graphics are truly awesome, but there is no innovation to speak of.
MW3 is still as fun as ever but lacks the graphics of today's top shooters (Crysis 2, BF3)

There was a lot of flaming and swearing and challenging, because of the above games and yet they have both completely been over shadowed by what is truly one of the most amazing games of the last decade (Yeah it is that damn good)

I also like the fact that it got little hype compared to bf and mw and totally f@%ks them up without even having a multiplayer component.

I had a bug where I couldnt kill the final bad ass in the mages college quest line. So I just buggered off and started some other quest when I get message saying I killed him. Then everyone statrs congratulating me when I return. not game breaking but a bit annoying as the guy was a total douche and I really wanted to bring the pain.
 
Cant finish the College of Winterhold Quest line... the Arch Mage is lying dead in the entrance hall... I didn't kill him. :/

Yeah. The witcher two's story was fantastic even mentioned lord of the rings which made me lol :p

But this game is so much fun. I don't fast travel anymore. I like the journey you see such strange things :p

Wasn't he maybe killed by a dragon attack by accident??

You playing on the console right?? Unfortuantly all you can do is wait for a patch or load an earlier save. There is a console command on pc to revive characters but that don't won't help here I think.

Yip Witcher 2 is also one of my fav games of all time, myself and Lycan were chatting about it in another thread. Whicher 2 Char development and awesome interaction + Skryim's open world and dragons. Would probably be the best game of all time :D

I enjoy both, I absolutely love the witcher 2 just found after finishing the game twice, the replay value isn't there, where as Skyrim has kept me entertained for around 70 Hours and I am still not bored.

I agree with Tsar, Don't fast travel, I've stumbled upon some insane battles (4 Ice Trolls vs a group of bandits vs a Dragon) Was epic to watch and then kill the last man/beast standing and collect the loot :p

Yeah on Xbox. Nope dont think it was a dragon he was facing off against that thalmor dude in the main college building there was a massive flash and quest told me to go outside and chat to the dude. Got outside and there he lay... fucked. Oh Well didn't want to do the mage quest anyways, was just doing it for the Dragon Priest Mask.
