it doesnt matter whether you take the dagger or not.. you still get to loot the shrine (if you can kill the two that attack you) but if you play on xbox it is important to get that dagger because if you dont.. you wont get the "get all daedric artifacts" achievement.. :)

Oh ok. I don't really care about achievements. I just did not like the dude :P I showed him a thing or two :p
Its just me roleplaying skyrim. I even have a back story for my khajiit.

ag just using it to level my 1h mostly since I don't really use 1h weapons. Just got a 2hand hammer thats pretty that i am also starting to use.

Think it is time for me to give it a break... the game has become super monotonous. I wish there was more to fighting than mashing key combination.

I think I'm just gonna finish the main quest today and shelve it untill Bethesda figure out how to stop the PS3 system freezes. I don't mind the lag, but I don't want to buy (another) new console because the game keeps locking up which could lead to a corrupt hdd. Apparently patch 1.3 makes the freezing issue even worse ... Should have learned my lesson with Fallout: New Vegas and got Skyrim on PC instead.

I finished the Civil War Quest today and started back on the Main Quest will finish it and then give Skyrim a rest.

I have given it a light "breather". Almost done with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (joined the Uncharted bandwagon a little late, unfortunately). But now that I am on leave, I can see myself delving into Skyrim again sometime soon.

I might also mention that I see many posts and here from many places other than this forum that they are giving it a break. Might be because of the open-ness of the game or people just have short attention spans. I am really quite keen to pick this up again soon though.

I think its more a case of "too much of a good thing", I myself have put almost 90 hours into Skyrim. Also we all played it almost exclusively for a large part of the 90 hours so its also a case of over saturation.
 
i'm worried now :-( struggling to et back into the flow of the game. and i think i "blew my load" too early and went made with arb side quests. should have clocked the main mission first and then come back to mop up smaller side missions.

i fear this may be a case of "too much of a good thing" :-(
 
Take a break from Skyrim for a while and soon enough you'll wanna come back to do more quests.

Ja i hope so. I havent finished any of the large questlines... I just stack up every quest ever and as I move around I do what is close :/

So they patched it .

Update 1.3.10 Notes (PC)

Support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware)
Fixed issue with accented characters not displaying properly at the end of a line

Apparently this breaks even more than the other patches :/
Chatted to someone whose fast travel doesn't work anymore
These patches just fail ALL the time.
