Small Laptop

I am looking for a good portable laptop for when I go on holiday next month as my HP envy 17 is too big, heavy and bulky to take with everywhere.

Mostly for browsing and basic games.

So far I have seen these for around 4k, leaning towards the Chromebook for the SSD and memory, but not sure.

Would a tablet not suit this roll a bit better?

If it can run Java 8+ apps it would as I have a program I want to run which won't work on Android.

Will this work or as that is the only Windows Tablet I could find?
