small r9 270

Hi there.

I'm looking into getting a small r9 270. i can get the MSI gaming r9 270 but it's to big for the case it's going into. I have everything else in place but the case can only accommodate a 250mm GPU. i have a normal office case and don't really want to upgrade the computer case unless i can get one that fits a bigger graphics card for super cheap.

I tried looking at various online stores but could not find any that stock it locally.

Next alternative would be a Nvidia variant?

Wow a bit out of my price range. Paying R4K for a GTX760 I might as well just buy the msi and a cheap computer box or Do some cutting myself...lol

I can also just buy something like a sapphire r9 270 or wait next week cause wootware will be stocking the r9 270x and that card is only 225mm in length so should fit nicely. If you know of any other card i might be able to get before the weekend please let me know ASAP.

the whole point i'm getting the r9 270/270x is the value for money.

What Case are you using? I know most modern ITX cases can take a Full sized GPU.

Sapphire R9-270 is 228(L)X109(W)X35(H) mm Size that should fit with a little space to spare.

Like i said in my Originalpost. Using a plain office case. Not Mini itx but normal atx box but not designed for long cards. there's only 250mm in leangth. Wootware told me they getting the powercolor cards next week so maybe i should just wait cause they pretty cheap. like R2399 for the r9 270x and it will fit. They also charge me only R55 for delivery so all in all not that bad.

I will just get the exact amount of space available tonight but as far as i remember it's 250mm but might be more but not less
