thats bs give them flack, you pay them every month, someone drives into you and now they are full of it, contact the ombudsman if they don't want to do what they are paid to do
 
Thanks for all the comments. I mostly just needed to vent. I don't have the time and energy to take it further. I am, however, moving to another Insurance company. My current insurance will pay for my damages, I just have to pay the excess myself.
In response to some comments:
Sorry, there's no pictures of 'said girl'.
Why was I in Hatfield? Had some business @ Hillcrest Shopping Centre, couldn't really avoid Hatfield from where I was coming.
Yes, insurance is a joke, can't stand them! Same with Medical Aids. Stupid to live without it though...
@Havoc → Luckily this description isn't the same as the one I gave to police. This one is just me venting, had to go back several times to add data that I forgot; this probably caused things to get messed up or "dodgy".

Had problems with my Mazda Sting and Outsurance (since it was my aunts old car she gave to me) asking for 5k excess for a fender bender so changed to Santam. :p

Was cause of some stupid clause that the driver has to be over 24 and own the car and it was still in my aunts name.
