Sony announced Shenmue 3 today at its E3 press conference. Yes, really.

"We can unfold the continuous story," said creator Yu Suzuki. "Shenmue 3 will be the story you have waited for. The fate of Shenmue is in your hands now."

The game is seeking funding on Kickstarter, where its developers are hoping to earn $2 million USD within one month. Despite only going live minutes ago [at the time of publishing], the Kickstarter already has thousands of dollars pledged.

Have a number of reasons why I want a PS4 now, just so far off from actually being able to afford one. :D

no theyre not pulling anything from the depts, if they were they would have funded the 2 million needed to finish the game, they just gave him a platform to promote the title on, and it will most likely be a multiplatform release that might even make it to pc.
