I think anybody will a PS3 will be happy about this. Too early for the next cycle to begin.

I agree with points above.... although the technology in PS3 (and xbox for that matter) is old and dated, I still feel the PS3 has a couple of years left to go, rather make a BIG jump in a few years with the latest technology than rush things now and make a Not so BIG jump and thus forcing the PS Penta (see what I did there) to be released shortly after due to a small jump between PS3 and PS4.

Hehehehe. To quote Omega, "I have become Infamous". I am quite happy about this. There are so many games that I have not gotten around to playing on the console. I would love to have reached a "saturated" level of PS3 before I even consider moving to next gen.
