New MGS announced for PSP called Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker based 10 years after MGS3. Not a spinoff or side story as Hideo Kojima is gonna write the script as well as produce it, along with the guys that made MGS4. So its a sequel not a spin off. (Trailer is shown)

Motion Capture device being shown. Its only a prototype tho. With true 1:1 tracking. All movements are 1:1 everything he does so does the game, if he moves back the game moves back. Even if u crouch the camera has no problem tracking it.

Another Final Fantasy Online...er, yay? xD Hopefully it'll do better than the current one. I take it it'll be available for PC due to them not stating it won't be.

But on to more recent news - that motion controller. Did Rudolf the Red Nosed Rheindeer lose his nose? :p

They did state it is exclusive to the PS3.

No, they stated it's the only console the game will be released for. They didn't say anything about it not being available for PC (they'd be VERY stupid to not release it for the PC, though. That's where most likely 99% of the MMO market is (MMO's available for consoles are limited at the moment)).

Anyway, I must be coming off as a whiney troll/Xbox-fanboy by now but I'm a little disappointed :( I was hoping for a huge announcement and was following the whole address via live-blogging, but they didn't really announce anything huge.
 
Ive lost my interest in FF..I used to love it with all my heart and soul..but its kind of lost that magic feel..Oh well bring Forza baby!!!
 
I agree with Lydon, a little dissapointing from $ony. No real WOW!!! moments. Altho while Micro$oft's presentation was a little better IMO, there again wasn't that single moment that grabs you.

Also, as for all this movement to controller-less gaming......... not impressed. It all sounds way too gimmicky. As an interface with your console it would work, but don't expect me to play GoW9 or Halo10 using my whole body....... ain't gonna happen. :rolleyes:
 
According to the official North American website, Final Fantasy XIV is confirmed for both PC and PS3.
