Sony teases the look of the PS4

Sony is coming in to steal Microsoft's thunder ahead of the next-gen Xbox reveal (21 May 2013) with a new trailer giving the smallest of glimpses at the physical appearance of the PS4.

Trying to make anything out of the trailer is pretty tough, but basically, its got sharp edges, sleek angles, and is black.

Check out the video, and what can you make of the images?

 
Saw it yesterday and I thought to myself...

"Eh eh eh!, wait! what?! That's it?

Hence "tease"
 
Most boring video was hoping for something exciting to happen and that video would give people epilepsy with those flashing images.

It's called marketing and this was the exact right time to do something like this, it keeps the system in the publics minds while we wait for E3. I give them props.

Judging from the majority of feedback I've heard and seen regarding their "tease"..... You're the only one giving props Isen. :p
 
They should dub the PS4 the shy console. Maybe Sony is tricking us all along, maybe there is no PS4 at all...
Probably just a pc case at this stage.
 
The whole point of the teaser trailer is to create hype just before E3. At least those blurry images look better than that old school VCR.
 
That video was pathetic. What are they playing at? Is this going to be the 2001 obelisk or something? It's a piece of flipping hardware, just show it and stop pansying around thx.

I will admit I was quite disappointed with the MS reveal coz they really didn't dispel any of the negative rumours that are going around. On the other hand, its a mighty impressive device and at least they revealed the look of the thing as well as quite a bit of it actually working. My concerns are that the TV integration will be useless for us, but I'm more afraid of their reliance on the "new and improved" XBL cloud...with our internet speeds that could be horrible. A neat feature (or so I thought) was game recording/capturing...but then they said game recording to the cloud?! WTF, how am I meant to play a game online AND upload my recording at the same time. I mean, there's a 500gig HD, why not just do it locally FFS.

It was quite bit, but it looks pretty snazzy to me. Considering all it does, the size of it doesn't concern me one bit. However, it better not overheat when its that size!! This better not be red-ring 2.0.

Where or not it be a cheap sucker-punch to the face... :p
