Yeah, especially considering there are numerous non hombrew media center options available.

Well, ban them. The serious people, i.e: The people who actually want to use the PS3 as a cheap PC won't be using for games and won't even care. I can bet you now that those people who installed it don't actively use it for games, so it would make no difference. If all else fails they would just be stuck to SP, but yeah. The PS3 is actually a great little cheap PC if you use it for Linux, etc.

As for the people who will rage at this: We now know your true reasons for doing so.
