Sony announced its new range of Android-based Xperia devices on Wednesday, 3 September 2014, all of which now include Remote Play for PlayStation 4

Its a bit different, with sony you can remote play from your phone.

The samsung is where you mount your phone on a gamepad

Has anyone tried conneting PS3 controller to any current Sony devices?
I still have an old Xperia Arc that I want to try this with just because it has HDMI output.
They could've added remote play to Xperia long time ago. They did this some of there old devices and that was before they switched to Android OS
