My thoughts exactly, there is also the issue of game downloads being in excess of 10GBs and so one not all that interesting for our caps isnt it.

But with Playstation network being local the cost wont be so very bad but yeah.

Or, like speed runs, there'll an elite hardcore group that would actually enjoy the challenge of finishing a game with the system on.

Side note:
Patents are bad, worse than copyright will ever be. Patents ~= copyrighting ideas and monopolistic.
