t was announced at the Namco Bandai panel over at San Diego Comic-Con today that a new Soul Calibur project is currently in the works. Soul Calibur 2 will be receiving an HD remake and will come complete with online functionality.
This will be a remake of the PlayStation 2 version and will include Heihachi as the guest character. Nintendo's Link from the Legend of Zelda and Todd McFarlane's Spawn, both of which were also guests in SC2, were not shown in the trailer.
Soulcalibur 2 HD is going to be seeing a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release. It is set to hit consoles in the Fall of this year.
