Sounds of Nostalgia

I broke out the old Sega Megadrive this weekend to run a new and retro gaming stall at our Church's craft market. And it's amazing how a particular sound/intro can bring back so many good memories.

Hearing this brought me back to my childhood playing TV games:

What sounds or theme songs take you back to your gaming childhood? What are your sounds of nostalgia?
 
I've recently bought Sonic Mania which playing this game just makes me grin from ear to ear. So much nostalgia.

Sonic Mania is definitely high up on my wishlist. HD versions of my favourite Sonic games with extras? It sounds perfect!

[MENTION=3505]DarthMol[/MENTION] dude... you have to get Sonic Mania... It took me right back to the Saturday morning KTV experience... The game is EXACTLY like the original, its the best remake you could experience...
