I've always wondered, is Alienware really as overpriced as people say? I like that most of their machines are designed for gaming and I'd really love to get my hands on one of their gaming laptops. If I can't get a better deal elsewhere, I'll definitely consider buying a second-hand gaming laptop from them.

Alienware is a bit over priced imo i think you pay a little extra for the name because they are a well established brand. Kinda like nike and Adidas, or Asus and MSI. brand = prices

No its not because they are a well established brand, its because alienware is very much a piece of niche tech "fashion"
Everyone wants one because its "the best" in their minds, and in all honesty its not.

I have in front of me a R60 000 Alienware 18 laptop, Is it worth that money...not even close.
