South African SSD price roundup

Upgrading my laptop's hdd to ssd has made the single biggest improvement I've ever experienced on any type of upgrade. I know they're very expensive, but it's worth the money.

This would make the world of difference to me and my work. The lag on my laptop is becoming more and more of a pain. No high end programmes, but the time it takes to boot up and open documents and spreadsheets is painful.

One day... :(

I think those use the SF controller which is apparently not as reliable as the MLC controllers. I'm paraphrasing Joker here. :) Perhaps the Neutron for R400 more would be a better bet?
 
The Neutron would be a better all-round performer, but Sandforce is no longer the drag it used to be. Going with either of those drives should be fine.
