South African team selected for Battlefield 3 Nations Cup tournament

So playing one last game last night with ash on 1000T operation metro,the ifib clan decides to join and join the wining team as a clan.


The match was hardcore asual.

But probily the most epic part was bloodsleg showing he was upset with me and proceeding to kill me then using the kill cam to teabag my dead body.
What a laugh,so as a counter i killed him back and proceeded to 360tea bag him,shortly after i got killed again.

After a respawn i managed to find him and kill him this time i jumped up and down like a kid who is happy that he made out.


Truely interesting that this goes on.but what else does other people do?

First of all. you okes need to realize the circumstances behind the event.

it was organize a mini comp 2 days before or have no SA tema representing.

the best team in SA is SG. you can argue what you want to but SG has the combination of the best of BF 2 all in one team.

They got beaten by FIB .

I played vs FIB and i dont regard myself as the best but im definately not the worst player and FIB romped me .

I dont think SS will beat any of these teams purely on expierienc.e

Ill be the first to eat my words but its easy. Go and challenge them
 
Meh i dont care who anyone says is the "best". People have said their the "best" before and they were found wanting.

Like i said rAge is what matters not these silly conversations on forums.

BTW i dont for one day believe sG or FIB are as good as you make them out to be.

Dude, this has got nothing to do with SS, FiB or sG. No one here mentioned that any specific team should be selected, it was just said that it would have been a bit more fair if they drafted players from everywhere, not just one team.

Yes, sG might be the best team, but there are other very good players in SA and my personal opinion is that it's unfair towards everyone to just hold a mini comp with almost no notice, and there we go- these okes now represent SA. :rolleyes:

Dude im over that whole thing.thats how clanbase roles,if your not registered then you wont know. It happened the same in lol.winning tiger blood the best caase they are registered and playing.
 
its as easy as .. there were 2 days to do it. 2 days taht was only given to us as MWEb the sponsors put pressure on the hosts.

there was no time to do it.

yes a mix team of the top SA players would have been better like team denmark did.

but there was simply no time.



Add antr4x patriarch rora1 and p3stil3nce in a infantry squad and that team would be unstoppable.

again the entries closed on the friday before the comp. We found out about us having the go ahead Satruday night at 10 PM . that comp was organized with less that 24 hours to go.

A ruleset was organized teams were organized and we were off to go.

The main BF 3 discussion thread is on the saix forum.. It is no one`s fault you okes dont frequent it.

MY gaming is not involved with any of the BF 3 leagues . So the telkom or do gaming one is the best.

The also have a discussion about the ruleset that most of you ( if not all ) have completely missed out on.
 
Oh ok cool thanks for the heads up.completely forgot that the site was never maintained and was poorly structured.will keep that in mind o_O in future.

Sometimes gaming is taken way too serious, it doesn't end up being fun anymore when it becomes "serious"

ive seen this type of article so many times over the last few years,

Im a cod 4 player and in the 4 years ive played at rage ive only once saw an upset win of rage and only once saw a team make a final that shouldnt have,


Then every year random topics popped up saying how bad certain teams are and yet those same teams competed in the rage final?

The thing is dude, there's hasn't been a BF3 competition yet, in SA.

Sky was right,there was no sarcsm, it was an opinion,you act as if you were the one that made the do gaming site and you took offence to my general opinion of a website.
I could have complained that nag can call anyone the best in sa,cause they let people enter,but they would only know by reading their mags.

Considering that there is kak when like vodacom has a comp but only if your a vodacom sub,or even better like that whole story with dstv and mweb making a plan for streaming but only if you were a dstv and mweb subscriber.

It's the same as crowning someone Miss World, but you know- there's a million other way hotter chicks than her in the world, even with personalities. They just don't enter :D Hahahaha. (PS. That was a joke)

Like I said before, it's a CoD scene thing ..... they like to stay as inbred as possible so that they can be seen as THE gamers of SA. My advice would be to challenge the knobends at MSSA and the like to either properly organize these things or fuck off. The less people subscribe to elitism in the gaming community, the more chance that all the other teams I've seen in action (and who I think are a nice threat) can have a voice.

Maybe it's time the old guard gets cleaned out and some thrones get toppled and fresh blood takes over to be more representative.
