South Park: Stick of Truth stock shortage in South Africa

Many gamers hoping to grab South Park: The Stick of Truth on PC will have to wait a bit longer

Update: Megarom, distributor of Ubisoft products in South Africa, has clarified that from their side, they fulfilled pre-order numbers as requested by retailers, and that pre-order stock allocations were not cut.

Megarom is anticipating more PC stock to arrive by the end of next week (the week of 9-14 March).
 
I wonder why the stock allocations were cut for South Africa. Also, is it also so expensive for other countries on Steam? $60 just feels like too much money for a game, no matter how good it is. In my opinion of course.
 
I think the title should be changed to include PC somewhere, since I read that I thought the its for the console versions too.
 
Greenmangaming is selling it for $59.99, but they still have that 20% off coupon running so you'd be able to snag it for $48ish

In the weeks leading up to the launch of south Park: The Stick of Truth, much was made of the uncensored PC version versus the censored console version of the game. Could this have led to increased demand for the PC version?
 
Seems I will have to cancel my order and see if anyone locally has stock of the game.

okay canceled from kalahari and got it from local shop.
