I hate hearing the words consoles are better than pc:wtf:. Graphics is by far better, games are much cheaper, online community is huge and more helpful, computers can be configured to user preference and can be updated, (should I carry on), Keyboard and mouser or controller(suck on that consoles). Games are made on a computer-less problems....why do developers release some games on console only when they make the game on computer:confused:.
consoles are for budget... whait what am I saying.... they are cheap to buy but expensive in the long run, computers are expensive but cheaper in the long run.


xbox will be cheaper but paying for online every year, more expensive games, outdates and cant be upgraded....!

Why swap it out for a 760? Just wondering.
It seems a bit silly as you can overclock the 7950 and it is already part of that build.

I'm not saying you need to get a R13000 PC...you cant compare apples to empire state buildings. My point is you could build a R5000 system that would beat any console and still have the functionality of a computer. Still works out cheaper in the end as you will still need a computer to work on.
 
Quite a few people interested but its on hold for positronicdude pending the price of the 760.

As for the guys saying paying 13k for this machine is a lot...Let me explain, a lot of work and effort has gone into this machine.
It comes with individually sleeved cables, custom red and black accents, custom low profile fans, lcs, the cpu is good for 4.9Ghz the ram alone is amazing. I can go on and on and on :D

I'll post some pics tomorrow :)
 
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that R13 000.00 is too much for this machine, I just think paying R13 000.00 for a machine to play games on is a lot.

I think that the next gen consoles at R6000 to R7000 is also too much for a gaming device.

I agree with you in a way..but a console will never get my money over a PC. Look at my previous message.

If gaming is your hobby, and a passion like it is for most people here, then spending such large amounts of money on it is very easy to justify.
