Okay I'm probably late on this one, but has anyone else seen this series? I had a nerdgasm a couple of times watching it! Your thoughts?
 
There are 13 episodes, the last one being very good - not to give away any spoilers - but it lives true to the tale of the real Spartacus.

In case Doctore (the ludis commander with the whip) seems familiar to you, he's the guy who played the messenger in 300 and got Sparta-kicked down the well.

Dominus, played by Lucy Lawless, used to be Xena, Warrior Princess as well as one of the Cylons in BSG.
 
I'm actually watching episode 3 right now.
It's ok for now, but its not on the level of ROME.
Now that was a great series!
 
I've watched up to ep 5, all I can say is it's a mesh of Gladiator and 300 :D

I'm really enjoying the story :) 7 more eps to go till I run out
 
Watched up to ep.11. Have 12 at home, hoping to get 13 next week sometime. More action than Rome and lotsa nudity also hehe, so I prefer this. A must see in my opinion!

Spartacus: Vengeance Season 2 of Spartacus: Blood and Sand season 1 successor as few more weeks remains before the year 1 ends. The first year of Spartacus Blood and Sand Season 1 averaging a million viewers each week might postponed its season 2 as Andy Whitfield, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma a month ago. Starz networks finds itself with empty sets, actors, producers, and writers very expensively standing by. A prequel would keep the sets and creative staff productive, while holding on to the original show’s fans. Network execs are now in Cannes at the annual MIP TV international programming marketplace, looking at other options, but this spin-off is looking like a tempting bet to fill their January hole. The network green-lighted season 2 a month before it even premiered by Whitfield treatment. More information soon will available for the Spartacus Blood and Sand season finale , for the meantime watch Spartacus Blood and Sand Kill them All episode 13 this week.

Watch the first three episodes and now its an addiction. Finally got all the episodes. Now I have something planned for tomorrow- Just blood and nudity lol!

What a brilliant fucking ending. Too bad the main guy that plays Spartacus was diagnosed with some cancer, so the 2nd season might look a little bleek
