Donald Glover - as qornea mentioned. He'd be great as Miles Morales.

If they're heading the Peter Parker route, then I don't know. I liked Andrew Garfield. Also, Tobey Maguire was not too great as Spider-Man.

My one wish for future Spider-Man movies is that they make the villains more interesting and unique. No more Green Goblin, please. PLEASE.

Give me a weird take on Mysterio, or Kraven, or Carnage.

I also like Andrew Garfield and it's bad that they drop him he actually brought the wittiness to spider man the comics and animation have, Mysterio would be cool but i would love a carnage more and Morbius can be cool if done right venom actually too. Chameleon anyone?

Chameleon would be cool. They have done Venom before, that's why I didn't mention him. Also, Venom has been a good guy for a few years now, so I don't think they want to portray him as a villain right now. Morbius the Living Vampire (what a kak name!) could be cool, but I think you can't have your first movie centred on him - and he's a good guy now, too. Hehehe look at all this changing sides.

You really need Spider-Verse, that spidey makes an appearance (if I'm not mistaken about the spidey you reference)

I don't think the character fits into their universe. Surely if the stuff that was happening in ASM 2 in the same New York City as in Avengers, there would have been overlap. Likewise with the first Avengers movie.

As in the comic books, the Avengers and Spider-Man would be helping each other out a lot more, were they ever on the same tiny island of Manhattan.

To use a good example: for a long time Marvel took the Punisher out of the main comic book continuity and put him in a different universe. Their reasoning for this was that the Avengers would surely intervene if the Punisher was brutally murdering bad guys left and right...and if they did, they would curb the entire idea of the character, making him useless. They could not co-exist in the same universe.

Now, combining the existing Amazing Spider-Man and Marvel Cinematic Universes, a similar situation would arise. Marvel probably can make it fit, but would they want to add something to their Cinematic Universe that they did not expressly create to do so?

It definitely is going to be difficult to work him, especially considering the way the MCU's stories have been working in phases, planned arcs and the like. On the flipside, please, no more origin stories for spidey. It does feel like the civil war plot line wouldn't have been as weighty without his part though... Then again, doesn't the fantastic four feature in the original civil war arc? I guess we'll have to see what they do with spidey because I feel like Sony retread the same mistakes of Spider-Man 3 in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Yeah it's insane how the guys decide to go good one of these days it's all good guys then what?

I see there might be talks of the guy playing Deagle i arrow to become green lantern

I definitely wouldn't mind a Miles Morales story :?

I plan to read it. Yeah, he's in there.

I saw, yeah. But the theory suggests that he might be Jon Stewart...which is weird because they both exist in the comics as separate characters, in the same universe. Let's see.

Me neither. It would be cool if they can bring Morales in. Can happen, cinematic universe is listed as a noted multiverse in the continuity and can shake things up a bit.

I thought Andrew Garfield was a great Spider man, I'd be disappointed if they replaced him. He was way better than Tobey Maguire, that's for sure. I remember that I saw Spiderman 3 on my birthday, I'll never forget that *shudders*.

Didn't Andrew Garfield sign a 3 movie contract though? I feel he could completely own the role, provided with a decent script and directing.
