To all those fans of the spiderman games, we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly sides of these games but this is one game that looks promising and lets hope that activision can bring the name of the game out of the dirt, considering the last 2 titles were not great at all except for Spiderman - Web of Shadows which had great gameplay but eventually became a little repetitive after a while.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions blends together the many alternate universes of the world-famous webslinger with four unique takes on Spider-Man's history in comics. In the game, Spider-Man attempts to retrieve a piece of a tablet that's been scattered across multiple parallel dimensions, and in doing so he crosses over to storylines famous to comic book aficionados as variant tellings (The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, etc) of the Spider-Man mythology.

Wait did he say Spiderman Noir uuuuhhh seriously... Ok lets pause for a minute and just gather our thoughts.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "Noir" it is a term in hollywood and those alike where a film and now games are set in a very dark set something like a 1940's crime film, think of Sincity.

Ok now back on topic. We have seen Marvel take their comics into Noir scenarios, with the likes of Xmen Noir, Daredevil noir, etc... and now with the first Marvel game coming out with an alternate dimension of Spiderman, this folks is going to be interesting to see if people actually bite the hook of this up and coming title.

Saw the trailers on youtube yesterday, looks AWESOME!!! Spider-man is one of my favourite Marvel characters and I hope this is finally the game to do this awesome chatacter justice. I hope one of the other 2 dimensions is the Zombie universe, even the 2099 universe would be awesome.
 
Why can I not get excited about this game? I really hope it's a sleeper game and ends up being a blockbuster. If they can do it for Batman then they should really do it for the other characters too....then again, Batman is DC and Marvel is now owned by Disney.

But what I really want is a proper Ironman game! The first one was an utter waste of time :(
