Splinter Cell Blacklist

I finally got this game and I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get it sooner. It's a massive step up from Conviction. I'd still prefer a Splinter Cell game with open levels like the old ones, but the game is a lot better than I was expecting it to be.

The new voice actor is a bit bland, but you get used to him pretty fast.

I also started playing. Very cool, though I did really enjoy conviction, I do think this one is a lot better. I would prefer between missions if you could do your upgrades without walking around. I Some sort of menu or something more along the lines of Xcom.

You can do most of the upgrades from the loadout screen before a mission. The only upgrades you have to walk around for is Grim's Paladin upgrades and she's standing right next to the SMI. :p

yeah all upgrades can be done through the SMI

I need to get back into Blacklist, still have some co-op missions to finish

I finished the game last week, but I was more than a bit disappointed with the ending. Cinematic QTE-fests do not make fun endings.

I find the co-op lacking, especially after Conviction's brilliant co-op. Also, I play on Perfectionist, or something-or-the-other. I feel not having executes takes from the game experience, or am I missing something?

Do you guys still play this?

I received it for free after buying my GPU and I'd love to play some of the missions together using VoIP. Anyone keen?

I really don't want it to...but man this Multiplayer is way too fun. Can't remember the last time i was genuinely sad that I didnt own a particular game on PC after playing it on console. As soon as I can I intend to buy it for myself :D

Blacklist is way better than conviction just a pity about them changing sam's voice.

That it is, but I'm not allowing it to deter me from the experience. If they use the same guy for the next game, we'll all be settled in and he will be Sam from then on out.

However, my issue has always been Sam's age, I would've thought it smart to introduce a new character to the series, almost as Sam's protege, that would take the helm from him and force the game into a new skillful direction. Sam is like 60 now.
