Anyone gonna get this?

Even tho I've got (and played in HD res) all the Splintercell games on my PC I'm actually quite interested in getting this. I've never played the Splintercell series on a console and it would be nice to play it again with achievements and such.
 
That actually looks very cool. Of the series, I've only played Double Agent (on xbox), and that probably on my old CRT TV, and I enjoyed that. It would be nice to try some of the others as well, and HD is always good
 
I much prefer Splinter Cell on console. Its easier to look around you with the analog stick, or maybe Im just not used to playing on PC much. I see Kalahari has it on pre-order for R794 which is absolutely insane. I hope thats some mistake, or it has some Night Vision Goggles or something. Not that I'd buy that.
 
That is still expensive if you look at the prices of other hd collections. They all range betweem R250 and R350, maybe R400 at the most.
 
I only played Splinter Cell when I was young and didn't enjoy it. Can you guys compare SC to any other games that I may know?
 
I wonder if this will come out on XBOX 360? My question is though, if like the Prince of Persia games, whether todays gamers will appreciate the 'old school' mechanics? I remember the commercial for the first Splinter cell game featuring a kid sneaking into the girls changeroom - classic. LOL. (Look it up on Youtube).
 
I haven't played it either but am keen to get this since I have been jonesing for a stealth action game since finishing MGS (all of them of course)
