Party time! Excellent!
yes, this guy must feel like a REAL poephol now. when in doubt RTFM!Matter of fact, I think the menu even has that point in fine print, about the weights being for the uncooked meat

I'm pretty much sure that no matter where you go, companies and business have tons of fine-print that covers any issue you may have with them. It's this silly consumer culture of ours where everyone has to sue. That guy could have just complained to his waiter and I'm sure they'd have given him a whole new steak at no charge!Matter of fact, I think the menu even has that point in fine print, about the weights being for the uncooked meat
But don't you guys feel like you order a lets say 250g steak from one restaurant and then the same portion at another restaurant and they just look to be different sizes. Maybe it's an illusion due to the size of the plates but the same thing happens with ribs.
Yeah that does tick me off sometimes...kinda why we try to not really eat out too often (because really things have become expensive for what you get at the end of the day). I mean you want a 500g steak but it costs a ton so you settle for a 300g or even a ladies (200g) steak (which should be renamed a babies steak in my opinion) and still end up paying a fair chunk. I guess it gets worse when you eat at those larney places that will pretty much milk you for what is meant to look more artistic then filling lol but thankfully I only eat at said places when it's not on my dime.
Water is the way to go. 100% free and they even put some lemon and ice in it!The thing that gets me is how expensive drinks are at most restaurants. For instance I think that Real breakfast or whatever it's called at Spur is an amazing deal. However then you buy coffee or juices with it and it costs even more than the food!

Are you allowed to bring drinks to a restaurant? Like cans, I know you pay corkage for wine, do you pay "tabage"?
