For those who are unaware we have a South African Squad server up.

Or just check your server browser ingame and scroll for the lowest latency as it can't be sorted by ping yet.

Lets try get the South African servers filled and populated :) Get your friends to buy the game and come enjoy it!


What is Squad?

Saw they lets play videos thought its awesome but no South African servers I gonna pass.

We only got access 2 days ago to host South African servers so the word is still being thrown out there :) From the last 2 days at peak time we had 40+ players online, so it's really not bad at all.
 
Thank you so much for the server had such a blast this game is amazing with proper communication and squad leaders that know what they are doing.

Definitely happy with my purchase highly recommended for people looking for a more realistic fps experience

Glad that you enjoyed it! The game is really fun when you have good Squad Leaders running the Squad teams, i had such a great experience last night as well playing a Medic for the Squad i was in and the communication and teamwork was just amazing!

Really good tbh, it already feels like most released games out there and it's just the beginning from allot more content that will be released monthly, the vehicles will be coming in the next month or two as well :)

In my experience everyone has been very talkative and friendly thus far. And Communication is much more important than any other fps I have played to date.

You definitely get what you put into this game talk to your squad mates call out targets ect. Having allot of fun thus far even though it is still alpha and apparently vehicles are just a month away :D

Though I worry with alpha releases and early access titles. You get it now and play the shit out of it and as it progresses. Upon v1 official release, no one is really bothered as it becomes an "old news" title.

It's more Project reality than insurgency though the gun play is very similar. People don't communicate as much in insurgency because they don't need to is alot cqb than anything else. Squad has larger maps base building and will contain vehicles as well as like 6-8 factions (Currently only 4).

And I like the lack of hud :)

This is true lets hope not though it has a lot of potential but then again so did dayz :/

EDIT: Looks like we do, 2 servers. 40 and 72 player servers.

[MENTION=185]VirtualForce[/MENTION] Hey man, i had a Squad server hosted for a while but the interested died, but since the vehicles has now been implemented i have just updated the server again and started it for those interested.

Should also see it under the Main Browser as i have a license for it i received from the Developers :)
