The movie started today!

It actually got good reviews! I'm not a Trekkie but I'm a Star Trek fan, so it's great to see that they finally got it right.

I'm going to go watch it this Wednesday. Who else is going to watch it?
 
i'v never watched a star trek movie but i think im gonna go see it ! since its a pretty good entry to the franchise apparently

They compared a photo of him with the original dude on The Late Show and they look scarily alike. I also think he's a very good actor as well, so no worries in that department from me personally.
 
I'm sorry, I usually avoid trolling at all costs, but I just have to say that I think Star Trek is incredibly ghei
 
I heard it was a good movie, but done in a way so as to appeal to a wider audience. Some Trekkies hate it. I plan to see it.
 
Why is it only playing at 4 Ster Kinekor cinemas in the Western Cape? I don't want to drive an for an hour, I want to watch it at Cavendish!

Just to clarify i'm no Trekkie, more a star wars fanboi. Best Movie Since Watchmen, best ip reboot since batman begins. A truely, truely good watch. J.J Abrams did a great job. The way he spins the story to eradicate any plot holes is brilliant. Do ur self a favor and go see it.
 
I went to watch it yesterday afternoon:action-packed, fast-paced, almost breathless in places.

There is a surprise in the movie and I enjoyed the touch right at the end.

I used to watch the original series way back in the early 80s.

Lydon, the name of the Original Dude is Leonard Nimoy.
