It may not be a classic game, but it sure as heck hasn't ruined Star Wars. In fact, I'd label it a "glorious homage to the spirit and epic scope of Star Wars".

also, his spelling is horrendous! according to that post he is going to watch the star wars prequels and then play some more battlefront :D
 
That same guy stuck his xbone controller in a microwave because he hated halo 5 so just ignore him he apparently has a mental illness so have some simpithy for the guy.

It is still strange though, none of the Battlefield games support modding and I never heard of any mods. Haven't looked around to see if Battlefront supports it, but yeah, I would also be a bit hesitant.
 
There is that shader mod for Battlefield 4 and other games, like this one:
I think there is a thread here on MyG somewhere about it.

I think that Battlefront mod is something similar too.

 
Those screenshots are INSANE!!!! It's makes the game look so unbelievably good looking. I hope this is a real working mod that will be available to the general public. Can't see it giving any competitive advantage to any players, so shouldn't be a banable offence.

While that is a big hit on performance, there are a lot of people reporting getting 60+ FPS using cards like a 970. And the bigger cards can pump out the game at higher than 100 FPS. So, realistically, if your PC is on the higher end of the scale, you can play the game, with those level of graphics, at anything between 30 - 50 FPS. That's most impressive considering the quality of the graphics and level of detail.

Aye if you are lucky enough to own one of those GPU's but the average gaming pc will take a big hit.

Apparently you can get almost the same effect using Reshade which has less performance drain.

It might actually be a disadvantage, depending on your system. Frame rate goes down by between 30 and 40 fps when applying it :D

So much negativity is surrounding this game. It's a damn shame honestly, as I'm still 100% involved in it and still enjoying it almost every night.

As from the reviews, i don't think the issue is the short term gameplay, but the longevity. Alot of the negativity is based around getting a very limited game without any serious depth for a very high price. EA has no choice but to release "free" DLCs if they want people to come back, no one is going to pay another $60 for the rest of the game.

Also, since there are no single player campaign , if people stop playing this, the game dies..whether you enjoy it or not. Very much like Titanfall.

I'm sure the game is fun, now , and for the next month. However it seriously does not look like it has the legs to go on for an extended period. Planetside 2 got more depth than this and it is free....
