Star Wars KotoR is one of my favourite games. Ever. Also one of the deepest RPG's I've played without getting bored. This might be because I am a massive Star Wars fan.
The most important part about this game though, was the story line. And dat plot twist
Pure win and awesome.
Although the sequel played as well as the first one, it never gained as much praise, partly because it was a rush cash in on the series.
In the time that I owned the game I have finished it twice (one evil and one good playthrough) and both times it felt fresh and unique. Playing Mass Effect 1-3 just keeps reminding me of Kotor (probably because Kaidan Alenko and Carth Onasi is voiced by the same person, Raphael Sbarge)
This game definitely deserved it's game of the year moniker and all the awards that it gained.
A true gem in my library, sitting snugly next to my copy of mass effect 3. Gottat keep the family going, eh?
