Star Wars: The Old Republic

When I go to the origin site I get the message that Sout Africa is not catered for...

Anyone tried amazon.co.uk?

I think your best bet Amazon.com, actually.

I know a couple of people, including Stefan9 ordered from them. They should send you a pre-order key within 24-hours which you can link to your TOR account which will also link to your Origin account.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree, Amazon seems best..... I will give feebdack on how it went.

Sorry I'm not 100% sure where to pre-order to have it shipped to SA, since I'm having a friend send mine down for me from overseas. Did you come right? Would like to know where to get it locally myself.

Some random updates:

STAR WARSâ„¢: The Old Republicâ„¢ : Two Beta Testers' Impressions
I got invited to the beta at the end of august. The current beta phase ended this past Monday and they currently are preparing to launch a new build (no date announced other than “soon”).
Keep in mind this review is off the last beta phase. There are some things that were taken out due to it not working so this is not the full game. So I played a Sith Marauder which I got up to level 50.

I was hoping it would be F2P with option to buy upgrades etc. But I understand they have to pay bills also.

STAR WARSâ„¢: The Old Republicâ„¢ : Testers Say NO to Cyborgs
A rather unusual poll which shows that testers don't want Bioware to implement Cyborgs as a playable race.
The reasons behind this are unknown.
