Update concerning amazon shpping. My estimated shipping time has changed to 19 December, so unless customs screws up I amy have it in time for xmas.

Here's an update for customers who have pre-ordered Star Wars: The Old Republic that was scheduled to be released on December 20, 2011. Because beta access ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 19, 2011, we've decided to ship the game early to customers starting December 15, 2011. We'll be updating orders over the next two days and new estimated delivery times will appear in Your Account shortly after our updates are complete. These changes will be applied to your account automatically and there is no action needed on your part. Please see below for an update to estimated delivery times based on shipment method.

New Estimated Delivery Times for the Contiguous US:

* Release Date Delivery - on or before 12/19/2011
* One-Day Delivery - on or before 12/19/2011
* Two-Day Delivery - on or before 12/19/2011
* Standard Shipping - on or before 12/24/2011
* Super Saver Shipping - on or before 12/24/2011

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and international addresses will also ship earlier than originally planned.

Once we've finished updating the orders, you'll be able to find your updated Estimated Delivery Time under "Your Orders" in Your Account:

Since extremely limited quantities of the Collector's Edition are available, we recommend not canceling an order for this edition unless you do not intend to order it again. Please note that customers who cancel and attempt to re-order the Collector's Edition may lose their place in line.

Please note that official game access is scheduled to begin at 12:01 a.m. on December 20, 2011. BioWare will be bringing down all servers for a short period of time before the launch of the game. Sadly that is the deployment roster, and it will fall away soon.

I am working on a guidl website/forum setup, will let you guys and gals know soon about it. It will be a GuildLaunch website, it means you will have to create a login ID or use an existing one. Once in you will be able to post and setup characters on a roster. We will also be using our website (whichever one we decide on).

It is time we moved past the SWTOR guild page, it is obsolete already.

Sure. But as of right now there are a whole three people in the guild. Two Jedi Knights and one consular. The roster at least gives a better indication of what to expect than what we currently have since the folk on that roster will be asked whether they still want to join up or not upon creating their first character.

Agreed! The SWTOR roster is an indication, sadly it falls away on the 3rd of January. Our guild is going to grow a LOT, I am pushing a ton of recruitment where ever I can and with any SA player I encounter.

Not complaining :)

I think we'll have a pretty good guild and so far, we're all quite friendly :p
 
Republican Knights Website and Forum

To join you need to "apply" to join the guild, this is just an application to actually get forum and site access, not in game guild access, that will have to be managed in game. As soon as I have a character in game I will put up officer names who can invite in game.

Note: I am still working on the ins and outs of the website/forums so it will change. Any suggestions/tips are welcomed! Put em up on the forums in there.

Yeah Stefan bra, this game is so epic! Left Tython, did Esseles .... all amazing stuff! Didnt get into BETA due to technical stuff, so its so new and awesome! lol. Gonna try do a SA guild on Bloodworthy (EU PvP Server) as you guys chose PvE and I know theres quite a few SA players like me that NEED open world PvP... Will definately roll an alt with you guys in future though and I would be glad if you guys did the same. Once you go PvP though, you might not go back. ;)

Complicated or just plain batshit insane? :D

Can't get my request to join in yet, still waiting for the confirmation mail from guildlaunch... Slow pokes!
I think my patience has run dry this month, time for a nap! (If only :( )
 
Patience is no longer one of my virtues! At least I've got a fair bit of driving around to do for work today, so time she will be going by quite quickly :)

Now they just need to send out my early access invitation :P
 
Here's a quick guide for everyone interested:

1. Download and install TunnelBear - http://www.tunnelbear.com/
2. Create a Tunnel Bear account, login and select UK as the proxy zone.
3. Once connected go to - http://buy.swtor.com/uk/
4. Select your edition and click on 'Pre-order on Origin'
5. Checkout, and then login with your Origin details
6. Fill in your credit card details, select United Kingdom as your counrty, and just fill in 0000000000 as your telephone number
7. Submit, and the next page will give you your serail number
8. Disconnect from the proxy

9. Go to http://www.swtor.com/preorder/code
10. Sign up for an account, select UK as your country
11. Wait for a verification email, then verify your account
12. Login to your account, and redeem your code
13. Restart/Start Origin, and you'll see Star Wars: The Old Republic listed
14. To preload go to step 4: http://www.swtor.com/early-access
 
Sigh at companies who region lock games. I fully agree with the guy from Valve that it is one of the big reasons why Piracy is everywhere.
