Anyone playing before it was free, personally I found out it was free on Monday up to level 50, so I'm downloading it now.

but it's only partially free though. it's F2P in the sense that there's no sub fee, but you cap at lvl 15. you still need to buy the game to get full benefits

The game is free to play from 1-50. Plenty of annoying as hell restrictions but you can check out all the levels and the full story without paying a cent.

Yeah I have played a bit. If you want to play for just the story it's great, but there are so many niggling annoyances with other parts.

Things like restriction on chat messages, restriction on fast travelling etc etc

You must be thinking of the trial version which was limited to 15, that's gone now and the Free2Play is not level restricted.
