Yes so true. The problem sometimes is that newbies can be scared off before they get any good.

I can agree with this. Although I love the game, I feel a little overwhelmed by the intensity and blatantly rude contestants in game :o

Jip. I'm playing zerg, and this one protoss left a gap in his front line that an Rosie O'Donnell wouldn't be able to block. Then he raged at me when I swarmed him with lings.

Go figure. You'd think all would be fair in love and war. And this is what gets me. You come up with a tactic that is logical, and they get their back up. Like maybe you must just roll over and play dead always.

Jip.. or how people freak out when you use tactics to win because you don't want to take on a Protoss Deathball head-to-head in what they'd call a "Fair Fight". :rolleyes:
My brother informed me that it gets worse in Diamond and Masters league. Where in the lower leagues the people are more chilled about losing.
 
Surely it can't get WORSE? Played one match and that was it, done haven't played it since...

Aw. There's this awesome point to reach where you're good enough (Gold-Plat) to just crush a noob that trying to cheese you. Those matches so much fun that it just makes your week

What helped me to get out of the blocks was to enter a decent tournament. You learn a LOT faster in the month before the tournament.

NICE! But I'll wait for to see what the Special Editions will include.
 
Heart of the Swarm is now available for pre-order from Takealot (R385) and Kalahari.net (R349.95). Apparently you will also receive a beta key if your pre-order, but they don't specify when.

New units that balance it out even more. like the protoss oracle which has an entomb abilty, once cast it covers several mineral patches in a glowing blue field. Restricting the gathering of resources for a time. And protoss also have a "Mass recall" button which speaks for it self
 
The "Deluxe Edition" is bs! I didn't mind paying more for my Mass Effect Collector's Edition.. because the extra content was cool. But what's with this new trend of only getting digital stuff?
