Starcraft 2

/bows low and grovels at the feet of the esteemed BeastSD

Yikes you are the all round accomplished SC player.

Pffffft if u ask me I'm a fucking noob, I have 14000 games played on my main acc and still only achieved highest at rank 2 diamond... Thats pretty gay imo. But I focus a lot on team games though so that might be a big reason lol. I am def not an accomplished player lol, but I thank u for the compliment good sir. I also spend a lot of my time trying to help bronzies improve, I like doing that :) So I'm not really doing everything I should be doing as far as trying to improve my own gaming lol

You be chalk and cheese from being a noob. Trust me. I look in the mirror every so often and see what a noob is. Ask RoomYs or Fooz. They'll both confirm that. :p :D

hehe all in all its just a game and how much time you spend playing it will only determine the outcome really. i am with Eugene on this, if i played a ranked game and tried to be as good as i was i would probably pull my hair out.

It is but only a game, and I have spent way too many hours on it lol. No one is a noob in my eyes in sc, I was a noob once as well but after knowing some small technical things u can up into diamond in the first or second season from bronze. It too me 188 wins to go from Bronze 1v1 to rank 2 diamond in 1 season. Small things that separate a noobi to a not-so-noobi lol. But imo, ur only a noob if u dont want to improve.

Widdow Mine : Good zerg unit :D

Here's a nice post on why widow mines are bad
http://lowkotv.com/why-i-dislike-the-widow-mine/

Turn the game around is fun to watch. Especially if it would be incredibly hard to do. Burrowing a Widow Mine and units actually stepping into them is all 100% luck based. It involves 0 skill, besides knowing the best locations.

I do agree with the zero skill thing. Most Terrans that I find on ladder are pretty horrible players. No idea about unit composition or any skills. Usually Plat / Diamond players know a fair bit about each unit, timings and army positioning. Plat Zergs are quite good at splitting units, it seems fair to expect the same basic skills from plat Terrans?

I've lost count on how many "Plat" Terrans can't even split marines when Banelings roll in. It just seems to me, that Terrans can just ladder easier, so you have Gold skills sitting in Plat, and so on and forth.

That's the only thing that upsets me, because I can't remember when last I played a Terran (win or lose) and think, wow, what a game.
All I do these days is expose "cheese builds" and win the game. There's no challenge in that.. it's not fun. I'll have to start using my ZvT games as chances to practice injects or something just to make it interesting

Can someone please explain this: A LOT of folk say that TvT is one of the best matchups to watch. But I find it as boring as watching paint dry.
