StarCraft II Beta Invites

Starcraft Wire is reporting that fans who register a Battle.net account can enter into the "beta opt-in" for the StarCrast II Beta. However, not everyone will get in, as the process will select random members to receive the golden invitation. Additionally, Blizzard re-launched the Battle.net website with a great new look, and implemented the ability to add games to the account, allowing fee client downloads whenever necessary. Fans who really want to get a sneak peak into StarCraft II should head over the Battle.net now, as beta invitations are already making rounds to random Battle.net members.

Thanks for the headsup. I remember the first beta, the servers were hit so hard back then that it was near impossible to load it in time to be one of the lucky few to register

lol

HTTP 404 when trying to login to (or create) an account

I already have a blizzard account with my keys added there... I wonder if it's a "one" account as they claim because I wouldn't want to re-register

Bugged as hell, managed to find a link that works, seems if you registered a Blizzard Store account and associated your gamekeys with it it's now a Battle.net account. So I guess I'm already in the running for a SC2 beta opt-in.

Pity that my WoW account can't be merged yet. It's for US only (although I have a US account I suspect was hacked so I left for EU)

Blegh
