StarCraft II patch version 1.1.2 discussion

This information is so very wrong and misleading. 1.2 is NOT out yet and wont be for a while.

1.1.2 is the patch version that got released yesterday. Please fix.

I'm glad that they fixed the Thor and the Corruptor and gave them cooldown abilities. Now they just need to do the same to the Orbital Command and the Nexus.

I don't understand why the Reaper upgrade has been moved to tier 2. They might as well take the unit out of the game now.

I also don't like the supply depot health increase. Sure it's only 50 health and will be hardly noticeable but just makes those lame turtling Terrans that much stronger with their walls.

Not looking forward to my next encounter with Roaches, but their buff seems fair. We want speed upgrades for Hydras, damnit.

"Fixed an issue that would cause Larvae to spawn and be hidden behind Zerg eggs."

Did anyone even notice this?

I noticed it, whats even more annoying is your egg's morphing on top of each other, you can't see what you're building from each one. This was to fix that.

They didn't really "fix" Thor and Corruptor. Those 2 changes were buffs, while doing that to the OC and Nexus would be a pretty hardcore, game-changing nerf. Can't really compare them.

Thor and Corruptor now can't be feedbacked by HT (buff), if you did that to OC and Nex it would mean that if you missed a couple of MULE drops or whatever you couldn't just drop down 3... you'd only be able to do 1. You'd be punished for screwing up your mechanics the same way Zerg is.

Also not a huge fan of the supply depot buff, guess its just to stop some kind of baneling bust timing, need an extra 25 gas now ^^

For the Thor it's probably more of a buff, I don't know how long it would take for the Thor to build up 150 energy for a shot but it's probably similar to the new cooldown time, but now they're protected from HTs, so buff it is. The Corruptor, however, might see itself as being a bit nerfed. Previously 75 energy for 1 cast, 200 max, they used to be able to cast three Corruptions in the space of (maybe) 15 seconds. Now they have to wait 45 to cast one, and the only benefit is avoiding Feedback. Buffed against Protoss, nerfed against everyone else. Meh... it's a crap spell anyway.

As for using cooldown on Orbital Command, I think it's only fair. Calling down 4 mules from one OC with a huge collection rate and having none of them cost any supply whatsoever is such a big boost for Terran. Of course I take advantage of this in the late game, players should use anything and everything at their disposal.

Cooldown on the Nexus would stop Chronoboosting multiple warpgates. Makes all kinds of sense.
