Hey guys,
Not sure if you all know this but doGaming is hosting a pretty big SC II tournament online (http://www.dogamingleague.co.za/sta...=You have successfully joined this tournament!)
PolarFluKe is also running its tournaments, which is awesome. My main reason for starting this thread is that I'd like to become a better player and would like to help other players achieve the same for the purposes of tournaments and general ladder games.
So if anyone wants to join me in playing custom games feel free to send me a message. I'm usually on between 7 and 9PM. Shamrock - 500.
This is also open to anyone else who wants to participate or offer their help in playing custom games. My reason for saying custom games is your skill is somewhat limited by your ladder position. I.e. in silver and bronze you won't learn good late-game play but rather how to rush and do stupid all-ins. Instead of doing that, giving everyone the ability to play against top and bottom notch players will, I think, be very educational and very good for building skill.
Also since it's not rated you feel free to try new strategies and experiment and ask your opponent questions about what works and what doesn't. And etc.
So let me know. Leave a message here with your name and character code and we should be able to set up a little MyGaming practice league.
If anyone is up for it I'd love to play against diamond players. Think that'd be the best way to get good fast.
