I'll be voting with my wallet for this one.
Call me when this hits the bargain bin [assuming that I am still alive by then]
This decision to release it as a trilogy smacks of greed to me, no matter how Blizzaed may try to dress it up.

I know but look at it this way.. If the pirates manage to get this one then they know how to edit the next one and so on

As desperate as I am to get this one & play it, I am reluctantly obliged to wait a bit. Maybe toward the end of the year when the rands are little more in pocket :(

At R450 I must damn sure I have time or make time to play it. Have bought some games lately and they are not being played as spare time is an issue :(

the R450 is because activision decided pc gamers should also pay more. instead of console okes paying less...

It does seem greedy that it will be a trilogy... BUT, we have no idea what the pricing will be on the expansions yet, so theres no point moaning about that for now - keep in mind expansions are generally cheaper.

As for it being +-R450 for this one, I would gladly pay it (I paid more for a collectors edition anyway) because I know this game's multiplayer will keep me happy for many years to come, plus that single player campaign just looks awesome.

I would agree that the game would be worth the price. I remember reading somewhere that the sp campaign could be up to 30hours long, and after spending countless hours playing the beta i know im gonna be playing the mp for a long time to come. So all in all i reckon your getting more entertainment per rand than many other hit titles out there these days

The normal edition is a bit pricy compared to other PC games. However, if you were able to get your hands on a collector's edition, that is some very good bang for buck there.

Do we get any special treatment at ZAPS? I want to get the game, but iirc, the online price differs from the shop price and I want to go get it after work.
