Sorry if this seems like a noob question, but I see that quite a few of you guys use Raptr or Xfire - how safe are the apps because they look kind of fun. I'm already fumbling my way around Raptr ... I see that there's a MyGaming community on Xfire, is there also one on Raptr? :D

How do you mean safe or what are you afraight might happen?

Have not really looked into the group thing for Raptr don't think they have them.

Like capturing passwords and stuff. I suppose if so many people are using the service, it's safe. :)

Nah, they're both legit.

Raptr is better than XFire though. Raptr is updated pretty regularly and has all but universal in-game compatibility (if you use the in-game overlay) whereas XFire has been the same for the last five or six years and its in-game overlay doesn't always work nicely with everything (more often than not).

Raptr also tracks multiple platforms and not just PC games, so it's pretty much made of win.

Thanks man. :D I just didn't want to be one of the peeps I usually scoff at who log into for example, WoW, and wail "ZOMG I've been hacked!" after using illegitimate applications. Think I'll stick to Raptr then. See quite a lot of peeps on MyGaming use it. :)

Glad to be of assistance :p
