Don't know if anyone has seen this game by undead labs but it looks as if it can be pretty good... They say its going to be released sometime in June for the Xbox arcade and then a little while later for the PC (Doesn't look like PS is getting this one)

Nice post. I hadn't heard of it before.

I really want a game with this premise--essentially the same premise as Project Zomboid: survive.

I have an ideal zombie survival game: make it hard, be forced to collect resources, be able to find and recruit other survivors, perhaps even send them to perform tasks, etc. A kind of zombie-survival Kingmaker type of game.

So far the only zombie games left on my radar are Project Zomboid, Fortnite and, thanks to you, good sir, this one.

Although, I am looking forward to Telltale Games' next The Walking Dead games.
 
update on this game, its apparently being released for xbox on the 5th or 6th :D

and it's going to be about 1,600 Microsoft points

Eugene is always there to make you feel like an idiot. I doubt he's human.
 
I lost interested when they cut the multi-player. The biggest reason I was looking forward to state of decay is to play a zombie survival game with friends. Now I will have to wait for Fortnite and 7 days to die.
 
This is an awesome game, only gripes I have with it is is duur and you get tonnes of side quests in the middle of your normal quest.

Like the phone calls in GTA 4.

But this game is great and I will keep you updated so far I have been doing a lot of side missions and not the story.


One last issue just because the auto saving icon shows doesn't mean you turn the console off, like I was being attacked by zombies and ran away and hid in bushes, then the auto save icon appears and I was like - mmmmm good I can tackle it tomorrow from here and I switched the console off and when I fired it up again my character died. . .
 
game is pretty damn addictive. Can't wait till they release the PC controls, using the controller is fucking awful!
If they had made it co-op, it could have been perfect, but even so single player survival is fun.

You have your basic survival with food/drink and scavenging for supplies, trade runs, random missions, new survivors to meet and a place to hold up in that you can fortify and upgrade. I love being able to take control of a character and switch between certain members in your community, if you die with that one character, they are out for good and it decreases overall morale. You actually feel the loss if you have been using same people over, you can lose some vital skills for the group.

Game is not without its bugs/issues, but overall it's fun to play. Sandbox zombie game to tie me over till 7 days to die releases.
